Bean Bag Football - Fan Tan
Fan Tan, also known as Fannie Tan, Fan Tan, Fannie Tan, or Fan Funn, is also known by the term bean counting. It is an old Chinese gambling strategy game based on guessing how many beans are in a container. Although there are similarities between Fan Tan, Bean counting but it is a game with distinct rules.
The source of fan-tan is uncertain. Some believe the origins of fan-tan can be traced back to China and Korea While others say it's an American invention. It was invented by Chinese gamblers in the latter part of the Qing Dynasty, who was keen to develop gambling games that would be more realistic and difficult for players. The first game of Fan Tan, which was recorded in 1912 it was actually a form of bean counting. To make the game more realistic, they introduced some primitive gambling strategies, such as using rice pieces to indicate beans' presence even when they were not present.
Today, a variety of variations of bean counting are played all over the globe, and they have developed many variations with different rules. The fundamental concept behind the game is similar. Two teams are formed with ten players each and the goal of the game is for one team to exhaust all of their decks before other team makes another count. The team that has the highest number of beans is the winner of the match. There are different rules for each game, but the basic idea is the same. There are numerous variations to this game.
The game starts by having both teams stand in front of ten numbered wooden bowls which are hollowed. Each team has ten players, which represent the hands of each player. Each player receives five cards to represent him or herself. Each of the cards have numbers on them that determine the number of hands each participant has been dealt. After all players have had their turn the blinds are raised, and players are required to place their hands in the bowls.
The dealer then gives each team member one bean and asks players to guess the number by touching it with one hand. If their guesses are in line the hand, they are in the winning team and the other team is required to guess the next card and repeat the same. The last card is revealed , and it is revealed which hand the other team has and it goes on until someone else gets the right answer. The game ends when all cards are dealt. The winner takes home the prize.
Fan Tan requires a lot expertise and a strategy. It requires a lot of expertise to figure out the hand selection, bean counting, and betting strategy. This will stop people from trying to cheat the system and count more than is legitimate.
